This years theme "Vault of Heaven" was thought provoking and lended itself to some very interesting interpretations. The questions that were posed this year were "Where does everything come from? Where does everything go? And where and how, in this vast scheme of things, do we fit in?" Theories of physics and metaphysics melted together in a sea of questions. The "Man" was positioned above a large observatory delicately blending scientific theory with artistic intuition.

The 2004 strong winds were relentless. Within hours of arrival, windstorms turned everything a light shade of grey. My REI tent (which has held up well during extreme conditions) was bowed to the point of permanently bending the poles. Miraculously, they didn't break. |
